1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Vero Brand Crafter LLP (“Vero Jobs”, “we”, “us”), governing your use of verojobs.in. By creating an account, posting a job, applying for a job, or otherwise using the site, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.
2. Who may use Vero Jobs
You must be at least 18 years old. If you are using the site on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that company to these terms.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your password confidential, and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us immediately at sameer@3amediagroup.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
One person, one account. Do not share your account or let anyone else use it.
4. If you are a job seeker
- The information in your profile and resume must be truthful and about you. Do not impersonate anyone.
- When you apply for a job, your profile, contact details, and resume are sent to that employer. You cannot withdraw that disclosure afterwards.
- We do not screen employers or verify every listing. Use your judgement, and read our Report a Listing page before parting with money or documents.
5. If you are an employer or recruiter
- You may only post genuine, currently open positions at a company you are authorised to recruit for.
- You may use candidate data only to evaluate that candidate for the role they applied to. You may not add applicants to marketing lists, sell their data, or share it outside your organisation.
- You must comply with all applicable employment, data protection, and anti-discrimination law.
6. What may not be posted
Job listings must not:
- Require a candidate to pay a fee, deposit, or “registration charge” of any kind to apply, be considered, or be hired.
- Discriminate on the basis of caste, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, marital status, pregnancy, race, or place of birth, except where a genuine occupational requirement applies under Indian law.
- Advertise multi-level marketing, chain-referral, commission-only “business opportunity”, or work-from-home data-entry schemes of the kind commonly used for fraud.
- Be for a role that does not exist, or exist primarily to collect resumes.
- Contain misleading salary, location, or employer information.
- Be unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringe anyone’s intellectual property.
We may remove any listing, at any time, without notice, and may suspend or close the account behind it.
7. Prohibited conduct
Do not scrape, crawl, or bulk-download data from the site; attempt to access another user’s account or data; interfere with the site’s operation; upload malware; or use the site to send unsolicited commercial messages.
8. Content you submit
You keep ownership of what you post — your resume, your listings, your profile. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, and display that content for the purpose of operating the service. That licence ends when you delete the content, except where it has already been shared with an employer or is retained under our Privacy Policy.
9. Fees
Using Vero Jobs is free for job seekers, and we intend to keep it that way. We will never ask a candidate to pay to apply for a job.
Employers may be charged for job listings or additional services. Prices, billing, and refund terms are set out at the point of purchase. [Insert or link to your refund and cancellation policy here — this is required by Indian e-commerce and payment gateway rules.]
10. We are not an employment agency
Vero Jobs is a platform that connects candidates and employers. We are not a party to any employment relationship, we do not guarantee that any listing will result in an interview or an offer, and we do not guarantee that any candidate will be suitable. Hiring decisions, offers, and terms of employment are entirely between the candidate and the employer.
11. Third-party links
The site may link to sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, their privacy practices, or anything that happens when you use them.
12. Our intellectual property
The Vero Jobs name, logo, site design, and software are ours. You may not copy, modify, or reuse them without our written permission.
13. Suspension and closure
We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we reasonably believe your account is being used to harm other users. You may close your account at any time from your dashboard.
14. Disclaimers
The site is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.
We do not verify the identity of every employer or the accuracy of every listing. You are responsible for satisfying yourself about anyone you deal with through the site.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms or your use of the site will not exceed [the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or INR 1,000].
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
16. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, your content, or your unlawful use of the site.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
18. Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and where the change is significant we will notify you. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
